Le piano dans tous ses éclats – 2012

On the occasion of the 10th International piano competition of Orléans, the Orléans museum welcomed into its mist an anniversary exhibition. From February, 1st to March, 15th in 2012, 14 exhibition panels (with supporting photos, documents and texts) related this great unique artistic adventure, dedicated to piano repertoire from 1900 to nowadays. This exhibition was an invitation to discover moments of emotion, of buzzing and sometimes of anxiety, anecdotal sides but also suffused with moments of big solemnity characterising this event. This competition brings young and not so young artists together, from all around the world and close to an enthusiastic and fervent audience around the music from our time.

Since its creation in 2012, International piano competition of Orléans presents the exhibition “Le piano dans tous ses éclats” at each adult competition, updated with new panels for the recent events of the association.
