CANCELLED – Hideki Nagano Masterclass

Following the last French government announcements concerning the COVID-19 crisis, it is with regret that we have to cancel this event.


Hidéki Nagano will give a masterclass to the 4 semi-finalists of the 2020 International piano competition of Orléans.

Hours: 4pm-7pm

Hideki Nagano is a japanese pianist, member of the Ensemble intercontemporain since 1996. After his studies in Tokyo, he joined the CNSMD of Paris where he studied piano and vocal accompaniment. After his first Prizes (vocal accompaniment, piano and chamber music), he is laureate of many international competitions.

In 1994, he won the Samson François Prize at the first International piano competition of Orléans.
Hidéki Nagano always wanted to be close to composers of his time and to deliver an out of ordinary repertoire. His solo discography includes works by Antheil, Boulez, Messiaen, Murail, Dutilleux, Prokofiev, Ravel.

He regularly plays in France and Japan, as a soloist and as part of chamber music ensembles.
