From February 1st to March 11th, 2016.

Place:

Best Western, Hôtel d’Arc.

Detailed Presentation:

On the occasion of the 12th International piano competition of Orléans taking place until February 28th in the city, the Best Western Hôtel d’Arc, paying close attention to cultural events of Orléans and partner of the competition, welcomed an exhibition of posters of the last competitions. We can especially appreciate the talent of Samuel Roux, graphic and poster designer, creator of the signage of this year.

Besides different drawings by Pol, poetic nods to piano, this exhibition also presented a collection of photographs by the Republique du Centre highlighting some of the competition laureates, for more than 20 years, a unique artistic adventure motivated by Françoise Thinat, pianist, teacher and Orléans Concours International president.

Their smiling enthusiasm for creation and music from 1900 to nowadays, will have lighted up the cultural and musical life of Orléans, as the 15 semi-finalists selected among 31 candidats did.
