Misora Ozaki – 2024

Misora began to play the piano at age of 4, and had her first Orchestra debut at age of 12, with Poland Philharmonia Krakowska. In the following year she had first Solo-Recital in Tokyo. Since then, she has appeared in many concerts both in Japan and abroad, and have performed with many orchestras including Minnesota Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Poland Philharmonia Krakowska, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. In recent years she has also given recitals in Germany, Austria, England, the Netherlands, Poland, Norway.

She is winning prizes at competitions, such as the 1st Prize and the Audience Award at MozARTe international Piano Competition in Aachen (2019), the 3rd Prize and ENSO Prize at Tallinn International Piano Competition in Estonia (2021), the 1st Prize at Steinway Förderpreis Klassik in Munich (2023). In June 2022, she was selected to participate in the masterclass of Murray Perahia, which was organized by G.Henle Publisher in Munich. And in December in the same year she had a solo recital at Publisher House, performed Bach ‘Goldberg Variations’.

From Baroque to contemporary music, she is passionately performing wide range of music and in the recent years she is often collaborating with composers.

She is currently based in Munich.

In November 2024, she won the 3rd André Chevillion – Yvonne Bonnaud Prize and the Isang Yun Prize at the 16th International piano competition of Orléans in France.
