After musical studies in Jean-François Cholé class at the CNR of Grenoble, Florence Cioccolani studied beside Michel Beroff, Denis Pascal and Eric Le Sage at the CNSMD of Paris. She got a piano and music chamber DFS in June 2002. Then, she began a pedagogic degree and got a piano certificate of competence. These two years allowed her to write a dissertation about the composer Toru Takemitsu. She studied at the same time an improvement degree at the CNSMD of Lyon in Géry Moutier class.
She is currently a teacher at the CRR of Grenoble and performs regularly recitals and music chamber concerts (Auditorium of the Musée de Grenoble, Musical meetings by Mittelbergheim, Archives Nationales in Paris, Musée Claude Debussy, Amphitheatre of the Opéra national de Lyon…). Attracted to composition and contemporary music, she often works with composers like Yoko Kubo, Bruno Ducol, Hugues de Nolly, Iradj Sahbai, Arnaud Petit.
Florence Cioccolani won in March 2008 at the 8th International piano competition of Orléans:

- Orléans Conservatory Students Prize
- Academy of Fine Arts (French Institute) Prize (she has been chosen by Edith Canat de Chizy, the composer of Burning that Florence Cioccolani played)
About her concerts: “Festival Jeunes Talents” in Metz, Varna Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria, Fenice Theatre in Venice, Onde in Vélizy-Villacoublay, Theatre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris and Theatre d’Orléans. She was the solist with a Korean Ensemble from Tongyeong at the International Music Festival for the French creation of Trame IV by Martin Matalon. In May 2009, she was invited to play at the Festival de Sully. She performed at the Auditorium of musée d’Orsay and under François-Xavier Roth with the ensemble « Les Siècles » in Arles and La Rochelle.
