Anaël Bonnet – 2010

Born in 1982, Anaël Bonnet started his musical studies at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional of Montpellier, in which he won piano prize, chamber music prize and piano accompaniment prize, in respectives classes of Sophie Grattard, Bernard Pozzera and Laetitia Bougnol.

In 2003, he entered at the CNSM of Lyon thanks to jury unanimously decision, in piano class of Edson Elias assisted by Thierry Rosbach, and piano accompaniment class of Michel Tranchant. He also worked with Franck Krawzyck for his chamber music studies. In 2006, he got unanimously his “Diplôme National Supérieur d’Etudes Musicales d’accompagnement au piano” with distinction and then also unanimously in 2007 his “Diplôme National Supérieur d’Etudes Musicales de piano” with distinction.

During his musical studies, he worked with pianists Billy Eidi, Martine Joste, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, André Gorog, Anne Queffélec, Mariaclara Monetti, Nikolaï Lugansky, Elizabeth Leonskaya, the singers François Leroux and Udo Reinemann  and the composer Sylvano Bussotti during masterclasses. Anaël Bonnet is laureate of many international competition. He got in 2004 the 2nd Prize od the International piano competition “Son Altesse Royale la Princesse Lalla Meryem” and the Special Prize “Wilaya de Rabbat-Salé-Zemmours- Zaërs“. In 2007, he is noticed during Olivier Messiaen International piano competition. He is consecrated by winning in 2010 the 3rd Prize of the prestigious International piano competition of Orléans as well as the Ricardo Viñes Prize, with special distinction of the jury, for best performance of a piece by a french composer.

He regularly performs as solist and chamber musician: Cité de la Musique in Paris, Lyon (salle Molière, théâtre l’Embarcadère, amphithéâtre de l’Opéra), Montpellier (Opéra comédie, salle Molière), Nuremberg, Turin, Rabbat, Bayreuth (Villa Wahnfried), Enghien-les Bains Festival, “Jeunes talents” in Villers-sur- Mer, Musical meetings Annick Gauthier, La Réole Festival, Nancyphonies, La Charité-sur-Loire Festival, HEM International Week. He worked with Hervé Joulain horn player , Jérôme Pernoo cellist, “Percussions de Strasbourg”, the composer Philippe Hurel (he carried his piece “Interstices” out during the finale of the International piano competition of Orléans), the flautist Clément Dufour, Guillaume Varupenne bass-trombonist, André Gorog pianist and more…

Anaël Bonnet is a Certificate of competence’s holder. He is currently accompanist and singing teacher at the CRD of Tourcoing and piano / piano accompaniment teacher at the CRD of Cambrai.
