Concert by Kirill Zvegintsov

“Mr Yves Bourgade, President of the Association of Friends of Josette Samson François, and myself, Honorary President of Orléans Concours International and head of the Galaxie-Y Endowment Fund, wanted this concert to be held in memory of Josette Samson François, a sponsor and friend of the Orléans Competition since 1992, even before it was first organised, and who found in this event an opportunity to put into practice all her generosity and her need to share her artistic talent with young pianists, as well as her energy and her loyalty to what she called “the spirit of Samson François”. We thought she would have loved to hear Kirill Zvegintsov, a Ukrainian with an overflowing imagination, winner of the Samson François Prize in 2018, in this programme conceived in memory of the great pianist and what he loved genially and madly.”
