Jean-Baptiste Millot was born in a musician family in 1967, he lives and works in Paris. Since his teenage years, he is passionate about photography. For 20 years, he worked as a black and white printer in Parisian photo laboratories, including for Marc Riboud, Peter Lindberg, Willy Ronis, Werner Bischoff, Franck Horvat, Jacques-Henri Lartigue, while carrying on photography, with musicians and comedians.
Since 2008, he works as a photograph for Qobuz, Harmonia mundi, Universal, Laborie, JazzVillage, Jazz Magazine and many others…
His photos are regularly the subject of exhibitions. The last one was in summer 2013, in Paris as part of the “Classique au Vert” festival.
For the 2013 “La rentrée littéraire”, the publishing house Gallimard called on him to do the authors’ portraits series. In 2015, he created a serie of portraits in tribute to founding fathers of the high fidelity in France, in a book written by Jean-Marie Hubert.
